Synopsis
School leavers are being urged to think twice before jumping on a plane to Bali for schoolies celebrations.
An 18-year-old from Perth has had a lucky escape after tests on a white powder found by police in his bum-bag came back negative.
Former Senior Legal Advisor at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, Dr Mark Briskey, said partygoers should commit to a few simple rules.
"That they will not take drugs with them and that they will not buy any substance from somebody that they don't know what it is," he told 3AW News.
"Unless it's a Bintang beer in a bottle, you shouldn't be buying things off people in dark corners."
