WISALTS column

(1988) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 2 June 1988. p. 6 [Publication] [Special Collections]

From time to time, WISALTS receives requests for information about our system of salinity control from a wide variety of people. Farmers, secondary students and people are interested in what the Society is doing, so WISALTS developed two series of leaflets containing straightforward information - Soil Conservation and WISALTS at work. Dowerin, Newdegate, Mingenew and Wagin are the main promotion venues used by the Society to increase awareness about a successful method of combating soil degradation. WISALTS members and consultants provide information at displays mounted at various field days held during the year.
