Soil conservation is due to be spotlighted in WA tour

(1988) Soil conservation is due to be spotlighted in WA tour. Western Farmer, 14 July 1988. [Publication] [Special Collections]

Soil conservation will be put under the spotlight in Western Australia in the next two months with a "Soil Show" display organised by the Agriculture Department officer Bevan Bessen as part of the National Soil Conservation Project. It is expected to be shown in most Western Australian conservation districts, firstly the Moora Recreation Centre. moving to the Narrogin Recreation Centre and then the Geraldton and Merredin district agricultural shows. The touring display enables information sharing between local farmers, groups and organisations from different regions to share and gain new ideas for their own situations.
