WISALTS column
(1987) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 5 November 1987. p. 19 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
Driving a tractor along almost deserted country roads on a Sunday morning provides a higher-than-usual vantage point - and the time to look and ponder, how healthy is that bush on the roadside? Endless questions are being asked about the degradation problems facing Australia. WISALTS and its interceptor bank system are a positive way of helping control water on farms, helping balance return to the catchment and production as well. WISALTS people are positive people as they have a tool which produces positive results, and it is easy to continue finding the motivation when you can see the worth of what you are doing.
