Summary

Keith Hughes from the land resources branch of the Department of Primary Industries says the level of seepage salting activity on the Darling Downs demonstrates a high salting hazard. Mr Hughes said that with high value cultivation lands at risk, preventative measures should be implemented in the basalt areas.
