WISALTS column

(1986) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 17 July 1986. p. 12 [Publication] [Special Collections]

The work of the WISALTS field officer is extremely varied and very demanding. Laurie Adamson of Quairading has been involved with the society since its inception, beginning as the secretary/treasurer, then as secretary and for the past three years as its field officer. To say that Mr Adamson is committed to soil and water conservation in general and WISALTS in particular is understating his commitment somewhat, the amount of time and effort and expertise given by him to agriculture in Western Australia and beyond is vast. The field officer's report is always one of interest and value, usually containing several suggestions for future action by the society.
