Summary
Good soil conservation does not necessarily need big capital investments, according to Department of Agriculture, Narrogin district officer in charge Tim Negus, who says it can be incorporated into normal farming systems at low cost. Mr Negus said farmers realise how important soil conservation is and most are unhappy to see fertile topsoil being washed or blown away.
