WISALTS column
(1986) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 30 October 1986. p. 6 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
The Consultants Committee of WISALTS hold their annual general meeting on the same day as the Society annual general meeting. At the Westos earlier this month, retiring chairman Lyndon Henning, a life member and founding member of WISALTS, challenged all consultants to compile a dossier of their work over the years. Mr Henning added that photographs of catchments, farms, paddocks and areas before treatment started were an important part of helping people remember how bad it was before the Interceptor Bank System was installed. He also reported on steps taken to remedy problems in some of the early work, the most recent being a two day course for all consultants held at Greg Morrell's property at Meckering. Elections saw Mac Forsyth of Kellerberrin take over the chair, with Phil Mincherton of Ballidu becoming vice-chairman, executive committee members are Ben Davies, Bernie 'Crash' Edwards and Peter Woodward.
