Organic fertiliser sold to Singapore

(1986) Organic fertiliser sold to Singapore. The Countryman, 25 September 1986. p. 25 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Australian Basic Industries Ltd. has scored a major marketing coup by selling the first commercial batch of its unique organic fertiliser to a Singapore company. The initial 18-tonne order worth over $7,000 is the first to roll off ABI's brand new $625,000-plus Kwinana production line. The pelletised slow release fertiliser, manufactured from poultry manure, was shipped from Fremantle recently. ABI was formed earlier this year to raise the initial working capital to secure the rights to manufacture "Dynamic Lifter" fertiliser under licence from a New South Wales company. The plant at Kwinana has the capacity to produce up to 20,000 tonnes of fertiliser a year.
