A booklet has been produced by the Boyup Brook Soil Conservation District Committee about growing trees. Compiled and edited by Gerry Parlevliet and Leonie Eastcott of the Department of Agriculture's Bridgetown district office, "Trees for Farms" covers everything from seed collection and growing seedlings through seeding methods, protection from damage, trees for different uses and locations, and profit from trees, including taxation implications. Other topics include trees as fire protection, sources of assistance, case studies and lists of trees suitable for the various uses.
