Summary
State Government grants to conservation groups for 1986-87 were announced by the Minister for the Environment, Mr Hodge. The Conservation Council of Western Australia will receive $12,000, the Environment Centre of Western Australia $10,000 and the Australian Conservation Foundation will receive $4,000. Mr Hodge said that these organisations represented more than 600 groups with about 24,000 members and were a focal point for community participation.
