Answers for the asking

(1989) Answers for the asking. Elders Weekly, 20 July 1989. p. 33 [Publication] [Special Collections]

The 1989 field day held on Friday 25 August 1989 at the farming property of Beryl and Crash Edwards of Aldersyde. The programme running from 10 am to 3 pm will include talks from Harry Whittington and Mr Edwards, and an extensive tour of the property. WISALTS President Pam McGregor advised people attending a farmer information course to ask questions, even if they seem silly, it may be the question the person sitting next to you wants to ask. Sheep and cropping are the main enterprises on the Edwards property and Crash Edwards has combined his WISALTS systems and trees in an unusual way which effectively and successfully minimises fencing costs and ensures establishment of the trees.
