WISALTS column

(1985) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 16 May 1985. p. 8 [Publication] [Special Collections]

WISATS column discusses the WISALTS Research Project site at Mount Barker, where local farmers said they would be more than happy to rely on the evidence of their eyes for proof of the interceptor bank system. The interceptor banks were installed in mid February this year with more than fifty interested people attending the open day held during the bulldozing and backhoe operations. The Society is extremely grateful to CSPB and Farmers, and to Professor Arthur Conacher of Western Australia University geography department for the help and advice given in setting up the soil testing.
