Rural policy thrust

(1985) Rural policy thrust. Elders Weekly, 25 July 1985. p. 7 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

National Party candidate Monty House has appealed to country businessmen and townspeople to assist in proposing effective new policies for Western Australia's rural community. Mr House said it was apparent that neither Liberal or Labor parties were prepared to come to terms with the increasing problems of country people and that farmers must join forces with townspeople and country business people to achieve an effective political voice for country people.
