WISALTS column

(1985) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 12 September 1985. p. 10 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Too much water makes soil lose its oxygen and ground becoming waterlogged over long periods of time eventually loses its ability to move water away. Winter is a good time to check where wet spots are on your property. The column describes methods for identifying the causes of waterlogging, providing advice and also how to become a member of WISALTS.
