WISALTS column

(1985) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 7 November 1985. p. 9 [Publication] [Special Collections]

WISALTS column shares a previous article about interceptor bank systems at Gingin, including at Beermullah Lake, Gavin Drew's property and on Bruce Roe's property. An open day was held last month in the Gingin area, and the three different sites were visited by the attendees. Mr Drew moved to his property in 1962 and the peak year for stocking capacity was 1972, from then numbers declined until around 1977 when numbers were 50% of what he had five years previously. He emphasised that putting in the interceptor bank system should be made part of the annual budget.
