(1984) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 5 January 1984. p. 9 [Publication] [Special Collections]

November and December are two of the busiest months of the farmer's year, whilst accepting that farmers are busy all year. The report of the Task Force on Land Resource Management which was released in November, is only open for comment by groups and individuals until December 31. The interim report totals more than 100 pages, with the summary of proposals being only seven pages. The Task Force was appointed earlier this year, "to investigate, evaluate and make recommendations consistent with the implementation of Government policy on the most efficient and effective means of co-ordinating the administration and management of land resources in the south west of Western Australia".
