WA water reference

(1984) WA water reference. Elders Weekly, 19 April 1984. p. 16 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

The most complete reference booklet ever published on Western Australia's water resources was released last week. The booklet, entitled Water Resources and Water Use, has three main aims: to give a broad outline of the size of Western Australia' water resources; show where they are in relation to the state's population; and indicate the extent to which they are presently being used. Much of the data was gathered by the Western Australian Water Resources Council as the Western Australian contribution to the Commonwealth Government-initiated national study of water resources perspectives to the year 2000.
