WISALTS column

(1984) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 7 June 1984. p. 32 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Farmers having experienced rains for 1984 and have noticed some of the problems caused by the imbalance in the distribution of water. It is worthwhile to record where the water flows or where the wet spot is, or where the growth stayed green longer in the spring. A surveyor will help define the recharge area and define where there may be throughflow problems.
