Philosophies in a future soil

Kronborg, J. (1984) Philosophies in a future soil. Western Farmer and Grazier, 14 June 1984. [Publication] [Special Collections]

The Australian Conversation Fund book, Diversity or Dust, pinpoints the future of rare and often unique flora and fauna species whose existence may be threatened by the encroachment of agriculture into their eco-systems. Heather Pearce, an author of a paper in the book, says: "Conserving the biological integrity of the land is even a more complex matter". The precis of events, arguments and debate over the land release issue in Western Australia, is a small yet significant part of the book. The book has been published to encourage people to examine government policy on public land alienation in Western Australia, historical perspective of land release and the geological history of the region is also examined.
