Work undertaken by the Warrenbayne-Boho Land Protection Group is leading Victoria and Australia in the battle against dryland salinity. Darrel Brewin, a local soil conservationist has guided the group since it was formed in 1982. Mr Brewin's hard work was recognised by the state government, appointing him to its Ministerial Task Force on Salinity. The appointment will take Mr Brewin from the Benalla office to Shepparton.
