Summary
Australia's first public forum on saltland reclamation to be held at Midland. This forum will seek the opinions of farmers, scientists and environmentalists with practical experience in solving the problems of salt build-ups, especially in the wheatbelt. The National Country Party's environmental committee is organising this forum. Norman Lockyer, an organiser, said that farmers attending the forum would give their answers to an extensive questionnaire on salt build-ups.
