Summary

Article discusses the detailed economic analysis of the cost of salinity to farms in the Coorow shire is to be made by final year economics student at Murdoch University, Mr. Peter Masson of Kelmscott.
The Coorow shire has indicated support for the study and when completed, the results will be made available to the shire and to all farmers who has participated.
Letters were sent out to the 190 farms, asking for individual responses on salinity problems.
Each farmer will remain anonymous.
Farmers will also be asked to describe work done on the properties and the estimated cost.
