Summary

Survey feature discusses extensive use of Polyfelt and Ecofelt geotextiles by the Road Construction Authority in Victoria on works for the Princes Highway in Gippsland.
The area is subject to water flow from subterranean springs, the road pavement is underlain by a 150mm thick gravel drainage blanket which conveys the water to the main drainage system

This article contains one image of an unnamed team of workers rolling out and heat welding strips of Polyfelt TS700 for use as a filter on a section of the Princess Highway.
