Article announces the election of Mr. R.J. Hesford of Cuballing as the new chairman of the Narrogin Zone of the Farmers' Union.
Mr. Harry Whittington stood down from the chairmanship after several years.
Councillor for the Williams district of the Grain Pool, Mr. Gary MacDonald, attended and discussed grain marketing and answered questions.
Mr. MacDonald expressed the opinion that the liaison between the Grain Pool and the Farmers' Union could be improved and declared himself to be working in that direction.
Mr. Whittington presented his annual chairman's report before stepping aside.
