Nelson, B. (1976) New land farmers will stick it out but they need financial help. The Farmers Weekly, 4 March 1976. pp. 4-5 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Two-page article discusses a visit by Mr. Harry Whittington, chairman of the Union's Rural Finance and Adjustment Committee, and Mr. Clay Manners, Union Research Officer and a team of journalists on a tour of the new land areas of Mount Madden and Pingrup.

This article contains seven photographs, one of Mr. and Mrs, Tony Sullivan with their children, Shane, Frazer and Tim on the steps of their home; one view of a yard; one photograph of an old wool press; one image of a farm house; one image of a laundry; one image of a farm house; one image of Mrs. Jeannie Allen holding her one-week old baby with her young daughter watching on.
