Article explains the position of general president of the Farmers' Union has five nominations including well-known Brookton farmer, Mr. Harry Whittington.
Other nominees are Mr. W. Boetcher, senior vice-president of Ajana; Mr. J. Walsh of Doodlakine; Mr. E. Skinner of Mt. Barker and Mr. D.W. Maisey of Dowerin.
Mr. D.P. Eckersley, the union's present general president, is not seeking re-election.
The election will be held at the union's annual conference in March.
