Summary

The Countryman feature discusses the proposal by the Minister for Agriculture to compare a farmers' salt land reclamation methods with those of his department.
Brookton farmer, Mr. Harry Whittington has been tackling a salt problem on his property for more than 30 years.
The department has helped farmers but at times, there have been areas of conflict between the two.
The Minister has offered an exchange of ideas.
