E.P.A. tour to get ideas

(1977) E.P.A. tour to get ideas. The West Australian, 9 February 1977. p. 43 [Publication] [Special Collections]

The Environmental Protection Authority has launched a tour by officers and its staff to meet with people from the Guilderton-Perth-Bunbury areas over the next three months, to discuss what kind of environment the residents want.
Conservation Through Reserves Committee was commissioned by the Environmental Protection Authority in 1972 to review and update the 1962 recommendations of a sub-committee of the Australian Academy of Science, dealing with national parks and nature reserves in Western Australia.
The last area to be surveyed by the Conservation Through Reserves Committee is System 6 and that people's submissions would have an important bearing in a study aimed at putting aside enough land to cater for public recreation and the preservation of plant and wildlife.
