Summary
Article explains the welding of Australia's most powerful farmer organisations into a united and potent national voice is the monumental task Harvey dairy-farmer, Don Eckersley is setting for himself.
Don Eckersley has sold his property to concentrate exclusively on his new task as president of the Australian Farmers Federation.
Speaking at a Western Australian Rural Press Club luncheon held in his honour, Mr. Eckersley outlined his new objectives and looked back over some of the highpoints which marked his term as Farmers' Union president.
