New book out on salt

(1978) New book out on salt. Western Farmer and Grazier, 2 November 1978. p. 8 [Publication] [Special Collections]

The Agriculture Department explains it has published a new educational book on the salt land problems.
The book, Salt land and what to do about it, is designed to give farmers and students an understanding of the nature and cause of salt land in Western Australia.
This will be the basic text for a series of salt land schools to be held by the department in an expanded salt land campaign planned for the coming year.
The book will also give a detailed description of wheatbelt hydrology and soil formation.
