Response from the author of the Western Farmer article on June 26 discussing whether interceptor banks will be used by Bert Henderson in his compulsory tree replanting programme.
Mr. Henderson has already had success in rehabilitating salt-affected trees by using interceptor banks.
The article points out that the present replanting programme is being done on elevated ground.
