Two leading Western Australian researchers on the problem of saltland are attending a four-day symposium on salt-affected soils being held in Northern India this month. Clive Malcolm and Dr Bob Nulsen, are presenting papers on soil salinity at the event, which will be include attendees from 20 countries. A five day inspection tour after the symposium, will allow delegates to see for themselves, the problems facing India with their 8 million hectares of saltland.
