"We want our land for the next 100 years"

Broad, F. (1981) "We want our land for the next 100 years". Western Farmer and Grazier, 8 October 1981. p. 55 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

More than 100 farmers attended recent field days at Perenjori and Morawa, organised by local branches of WISALTS to review progress and results of interceptor systems installed in the past four years. Commissioner for Soil Conservation Dr Graeme Robertson travelled from Perth to meet farmers and discuss issues of common concern in a spirit of cooperation. The growing season has been excellent and farmers are aware that good germinating conditions have helped start crops on some salt affected land.

This article contains an image of field day attendees inspecting seepage water in an interceptor drain.
