Letter to the editor - See for yourself

Richards, L. (1981) Letter to the editor - See for yourself. National Farmer, 28 May 1981. [Publication] [Special Collections]

Letter to the editor by Lloyd Richards, WISALTS President, Quairading, Western Australia.

A response to claims made in a letter to the editor "Tackling Salinity" published on 19 February 1981, where the emphasis was made that WISALTS claims could not be substantiated. Mr Richards says that farmers who started putting in interceptor banks three years ago are very keen on the system and are constructing more and more banks. He also extends an invitation to readers who think that WISALTS members exaggerate to write to him and arrange a three or four day tour to visit Western Australia and see how the system works for themselves. WISALTS currently has 1,000 members and 45 branches.
