(1981) Balance is priority for Williams farmer. Our Land, July 1981. pp. 1-2 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
A feature on Williams farmer Murray Higham, his three sons, Richard, Andrew and Timothy and their farm management programme. The 3,000 hectares including the home property opened up by Murray's grandfather in 1906 are in various stages of development, with 40 hectares left under bush to protect against erosion problems. Most of the crops grown on the Higham's property are used as stock feed for their sheep.
This article contains two images: a portrait of Murray Higham surveying recently developed land and Murray Higham with CSBP Field Officer Dan Parker.
