The Agricultural Policy Working Committee's major report was released to the State Government this week, following a year-long investigation of issues affecting the productive, economic and community life of Queensland's rural sector. Committee chairman, Errol Truss said a public inquiry should be held to assist government in establishing guidelines for a more progressive policy on water resources development.
