Summary
A team of senior government officers and other experts will coordinate a programme aimed at combating soil erosion and salinity in Western Australia. The government is leading a plan to streamline the organisation and operation of all groups undertaking research and field work on soil erosion and salinity, and will also review the Soil Conservation Act to see if it should be strengthened.
