Summary

Farmers in the Wooroloo and Wundowie areas have written to the Premier, Sir Charles Court to ask the government to intervene in the Agnew Clough mining company's subdivision of about 450 hectares of virgin forest to avoid further salinity problems. A farmer's spokesman, Mr Neil Hodgson said that approaches to the Liberal MLA for Mundaring, Tom Herzfeld and the Minister for Town Planning, Mrs Craig had not stopped the subdivision.
