Summary

Promotion of the Fight Against Salt competition, sponsored by Chamberlain John Deere and the Western Farmer and Grazier. Members of the judging panel are: Dr Michael Mulcahy, Conservation and Environment Department; Dr Graeme Robertson, Western Australian Commission of Soil Conservation; Eric Bettenay, CSIRO principal research scientist and Max Piggott, Western Farmer and Grazier Great Southern correspondent. The winner of the competition will be judged to be the farmer who has made the greatest contribution to overcoming salinity problems on their property.

This article includes an image of Ken Brown and Bob Frean, territory managers for Chamberlain with the chisel plow prize.
