A review of the book "Replenish the Earth" by Ernest Jackson, a 90-page document on water catchment management. Mr Jackson has drawn on various sources to support his view that there is an urgent need for multi-disciplinary co-ordination in the area of renewable natural resources and their sustainable development, and is quoted as saying, "The art of conservation is to maintain the productivity of our renewable natural resources while ensuring the maintenance of landscape amenity."
