Water, soil are top priorities

(1982) Water, soil are top priorities. The Queensland Graingrower, 1 December 1982. p. 1 [Publication] [Special Collections]

The Agricultural Policy Working Committee report was recently presented to Mike Ahern, the Primary Industries Minister. The committee representatives were from major state primary producer organisations, the Department of Primary Industries and the Queensland Agricultural council. Their report follows a year-long investigation of issues affecting the productive, economic and community life in Queensland's rural sector and identifies an urgent need to conserve Queensland's depleting water and soil resources.
