The salt report
Kronborg, J. (1982) The salt report. Western Farmer and Grazier, 28 October 1982. p. 33 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
The Australian Soil Conservation Standing Committee's Dryland Salting working party released its comprehensive report on non-irrigated salt land last week. The working party which compiled the report declined to estimate the extent of damage in lost productivity. The report says that it can been argued that salt land can be improved through drainage, as induced salinity is largely related to the discharge of stored salts.
