Summary

Exceptional trial responses to deep ripping by the Agriculture Department have caused a rush by farmers to implement the technique on their properties. Departmental research officer, Ron Jarvis recommends caution in applying some department trial results in a farm situation. It should be noted that the department's trials had shown best responses on light land.
