A WISALTS seminar was held in Esperance to show local farmers the organisation was interested in helping to stop salt encroachment in the area. Less than 20 people attended, surprising Victorian farmer Alex Martin, who travelled to Esperance for the seminar, indicating that local farmers did not fully support WISALTS and the methods they use to correct the deteriorating pastures.
