Summary
The success of the 'Land - the Fragile Resource' convention organised by the Land Management Society of Western Australia is indicative of the importance of maintaining the soil, primary producers most valuable resource. The practical approach from the convention's speakers made it clear that agricultural production could be maintained and improved without increased degradation of the land.
