Summary
The audience at a public meeting in the Swan Hill Town Hall gave Karadoc farmer Jack Edey a standing ovation for his proposal to pipe saline water from Murray River areas to the sea. The meeting agreed unanimously to form a three State representative committee to promote the scheme to Governments and the public.
