Summary
A public meeting has been called to promote the feasibility of a scheme proposed by Jack Edey to pipe salt from the Murray Valley to the sea. The joint municipality committee hopes to form a steering committee comprising representatives from directly concerned bodies and to be chaired by Des Crowe, President of the Victorian Farmers and Graziers Association
