Summary

Details an address given by Dr Kevin O'Connor, Professor of Range Management at the Centre for Resource Management based at Lincoln College within the University of Canterbury, New Zealand at the ANZAAS Congress in Perth in May 1983. In his address, Dr O'Connor touched on research into agroforestry and nutrient management and stated that interceptor banks will be recognised for their primary value in water and soil conservation, including promoting of contour cultivation of land.
