WISALTS column

(1983) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 22 December 1983. p. 23 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Last column for 1983, providing a review of the past 12 months. The WISALTS organisation has seen a change in leadership with inaugural President Lloyd Richards retiring at the end of 1982 and his successor, Lex Hardie of Narrogin being elected at the 1983 Annual General Meeting. The society hosted visits by two prominent American soil scientists during the year: Dr Al Black, Director of the Northern Great Plains Research Centre in Mandan, North Dakota during April and Dr Paul Brown in September.
